Importing and Exporting
Exporting links / shortcuts:
Allinkster supports exporting bookmarks to an HTML or TXT file.- Click the ‘Export’ button or select File > Export or press Ctrl + E to export bookmarks. Select the type to export to under ‘Save as Type’.
Indexing links / shortcuts:
Allinkster supports following index operations:-
To index bookmarks from a browser, click the ‘Index’
button or press Ctrl + I or select File > Index from the main menu or select ‘Index Links’ from the context menu of the System Tray
Icon. Select the browser to index from and click ‘Index’ from the window.
- To index/import from a TXT or HTML file, follow the same instructions above and instead of selecting a browser, select ‘File’ option from the drop down menu. Browse to the desired file in the dialog. Only TXT files supported for index operation are the ones exported from Allinkster itself or TXT files that contain only line separated links or file paths (no other text). HTML file can be any HTML file.
- To index/import links from another Allinkster workspace, follow the instructions from the first point, select ‘Workspace’ instead of selecting a browser and browse to the desired workspace folder.
