Buttons
This guide only covers buttons not covered in the other sections. The buttons
not covered in this section are pretty straight forward like Add, Export etc.
The 'View' button is the third button from the right. This button is
not labeled 'View'. Instead you will see the name of the category view Allinkster
currently shows. For example, here it shows 'All'. The 'View' button does the following:
The 'Browser' button is the second button from the right.
This button is also not labeled 'Browser'. Instead you will see the name of the global default browser
Allinkster will use for launching web links/urls (for whom browser is not set). For example, here it
shows 'Firefox'. The 'Browser' button does the following:
The workspace button is the fourth
button from the left and is labeled 'Space'. To see how this button works, see the Workspace section.
The exit/hide button is the rightmost button
and will be labeled 'Exit' or 'Hide' depending on what setting you choose.
View Button:
The 'View' button is the third button from the right. This button is
not labeled 'View'. Instead you will see the name of the category view Allinkster
currently shows. For example, here it shows 'All'. The 'View' button does the following:
- Clicking the button can cycle through different category views

Right clicking on the
button will reveal a context menu from where you can selec which category should be shown in the treeview. The picture
to the right here shows 'All' as the selected view.

Selecting 'Multi (Select)' from this menu will bring up the categories selector window where
multiple categories can be selected to be shown in the treeview. Click 'Set' to show only the checked
categories or click 'Close' to cancel.

Browser Button:
The 'Browser' button is the second button from the right.
This button is also not labeled 'Browser'. Instead you will see the name of the global default browser
Allinkster will use for launching web links/urls (for whom browser is not set). For example, here it
shows 'Firefox'. The 'Browser' button does the following:
- Clicking this button can cycle through different browsers

Right clicking on the button will reveal a context menu from where the global default launch browser can be selected.
When the browser is selected from this menu, the browser button will change it's icon to that corresponsding browser.
The picture to the right shows 'Firefox' as the selected browser.
Workspace Button:
The workspace button is the fourth
button from the left and is labeled 'Space'. To see how this button works, see the Workspace section.
Exit/Hide Button:
The exit/hide button is the rightmost button
and will be labeled 'Exit' or 'Hide' depending on what setting you choose.
