Allinkster supports automatic indexing of any specified folder/folders in addition to automatic indexing of start menu,
desktop and browser bookmarks.
Auto indexing any folder/folders
Folders can be specified to be indexed from the
'Workspace' tab in Settings window. Pressing the 'Pick' button next to 'Auto index folders'
will bring up the 'Auto Index folders' window.
To add one folders at a time, click 'Add (Browse)' to select the folder to auto index. Multiple folders will have to be
selected one by one.
To add multiple folders, drag and drop folders on to the the list box.
To remove folders, select multiple entries from the list and click 'Remove'.
Click 'OK' to close this window. Settings will not be saved until 'Save' button on the Settings window is clicked.
The indexing of specified folders is workspace specific and is non-recursive.
Enabling automatic index of start menu, desktop and Browser bookmarks:
Start Menu and Desktop Indexing: Enable 'Auto index start menu & desktop' option under 'Application' tab
in Settings window.
Browser Bookmarks: Enable 'Auto index browser bookmarks' under 'Application' tab in Settings window.
The indexing of start menu, desktop and Browser bookmarks applies only to the default workspace.
