The idea of Allinkster came to me when I found myself visiting certain sites frequently with sections of URL
that can easily be stacked in a treeview. Browser bookmarking in such cases can become really messy,
especially if you're saving hundreds if not thousands of bookmarks. And if you have several browsers, like I do,
you'll find yourself using search engines to find articles/links you already have saved but can't remember where.
I am a guy who's into programming and astronomy in addition to the usual stuff people are into and love to
write programs to automate various things that I do on my computer. I have always been fascinated with the
idea and concept of a computer, because it is a perfect system despite being an assembly of several components
unlike any other complex system found in nature. I have been working in the programming field for quite some time
now and always interested in learning/working on
new projects. But enough about me. The buzz should all be about Allinkster.
I hope you find Allinkster worth while since it will save you a lot of hassle and time in sifting through
hoards of links/shortcuts. It will also be a real time saver for people have, let's say, almost a "wallpaper"
of shortcuts on their desktop.
Imagine not having to go to a folder to open a file or launching any shortcuts without having to click 'Show Desktop'
to see them or scrolling through an infinitely long start menu.
