There are several ways of editing a single link / shortcut:
To edit the name only, select the link in the Tree view, press F2 or click ‘Rename (Nickname Only)’ from the right click menu, give
it a new name and press enter.
To edit the nickname and path/link and click
‘Edit link’. This will bring up the ‘Edit Link’ window. Make the desired changes and click ‘Update’.
Note that in this window, the link cannot change its category. For example,
if you have added “C:\somefile.exe”, you cannot update it to “http://somewebsite.com”. But “C:\somefile.doc” can be updated to “C:\somefile.xls”
because both of these extensions are classified under ‘Documents’ category. In any case if the new path provided is a local file or folder,
it must exist on the disk.
